I'm home from Mexico. And instead of launching into a huge blog post about why this past month was totally amazing, life changing, and why Leon and I are discussing the very real possibility of buying a property in PV, let me just assure any interested party that I am going to initially put my efforts into a video compilation that I will post soon. Like tomorrow. Or the next day.
Not that it isn't good to be home. There is a sweetness to the crisp, cold air, and I look forward to hot baths, night time tea, funky scarves & time with my Mac. I'm happy to start running Don & Debby Do Vegas again (I'll be posting more on that show soon, too, because I'd love for you all to come see it), and sinking my teeth into my school work. I have meetings about doing more work for this blog, and will resume my Ptarmigan gig which I adore. I even have a couple websites that I will be working on. If January was on pause, then February is hitting fast forward.
There is even a bit of a dream bubbling up over at Live Out Loud Theatre. It might have something to do with producing a new, original musical/music revue this coming summer. It is a dream so big, that it makes me want to throw up a little...but they say if your dreams don't scare you, you aren't dreaming big enough. Many logistics have to fall into place, though, so that is all I will say about that until the Dream becomes a little more Reality.
If that project happens, then my already full schedule will go into overload. Leon leaves on Wednesday for Kamloops again, but will be back in March for the Who Is Mrs. Wilson? 2012 contract (pending funding). This puts me, once again, on my own, with lots of time to focus and accomplish. The greatest thing about Mexico was that it truly put the vroooom back in my engine, and I feel ready to take on 2012. My year - year of the dragon.
So...stay tuned. KJ's Life Experiment 310 will be about Mexico, and 311 will be a great travelling health tip that helped me stay on top of my diet even while vacationing. I'll let you know where to go to get tickets to my current show, and what shows are coming up. I may even be holding a Green Smoothie Workshop or two in the near future. If I can fit it all in.
Arriba, arriba!
