KJ's Life Experiment - 309 - Healthy Snackin' with Raw Popcorn
I can not live without crunchy snacks...can you? But since taking my health journey into my own hands, I've had to find healthy alternatives to doritos. This popcorn-y, cheese-y snack is raw, nutritious, crunchy and, in my opinion, YUMMY! It is also very easy to make, and in this video (shot in my Live Out Loud meditation corner) I show you how;-)
P.S. A big shout out to Philip McCluskey, a raw food guru, for showing me this recipe.
Seriously, folks, consider dropping sugar (which includes foods containing white/processed flour, corn, rice) out of your diet! Leon and I were obviously exposed to the same flu virus a few days ago, and I couldn't be more impressed with how strong my immune system has been in fighting it off. I am virtually symptom free, whereas Leon (who is much more lenient with his diet & health habits) is getting his ass handed to him. And even though this has something to do with how rundown Leon has been in the last few months, I also believe it has everything to do with how loyal and disciplined I've been not letting the "weakening" foods into my life.

Question....do you have to refrigerate it? (yeah, right...like there would be any left over...I would eat the WHOLE BAG!) Don't know much about nutritional yeast and whether it needs to be refrigerated.
Nope. I store my nutritional yeast in a glass jar in my cupboard. Although, I am sure refrigerating it isn't such a bad idea...
very cool. thanks krista.
1. you look like you're sitting on the toilet making this video
2. you have alot of grey hair (3:20)
3. worst music ever, you sitting on your toilet, you aren't in a conga line.
You should get a real job, 7-11 must hiring. I'm sure your husband appreciates that all your time spent on this crap brings in $0 income.
Krista, I'm hesitant to try this recipe because your green smoothie recipe gave me really bad diarreah.

really not a very nice comment...PP...actually teaching people about nutrition can bring in income, but that is not the point. The point is that you are probably unhappy with your unfulfilling job, unhappy with yourself as a person, and feel the need to bring others down. You should ask yourself why you feel the need to do this. Peace.
Hard to say what might have caused diarreah...but introducing new foods into one's diet can have some strange effects sometimes. You know yourself best, and if your intuition is telling you that cauliflower with nutritional yeast, olive oil & sea salt might upset your digestive system, by all means, refrain.
Thanks Asahi Princess:-) Poopypants is the same anonymous hater who has been determinedly commenting for awhile now, and will probably keep making great efforts to do so, despite my efforts to ignore them/block them/laugh it off. Looks like I will have to turn on comment screening. But your support means a lot. Let the hate, motivate, right? :-)
I got diarreah oo....
Babe...you should just turn on your screening tool while we are in Mexico...
